Glad you are OK and the guy didn't do more damage to your truck. I have resisted getting a dash cam, but I'll prolly rethink this...

Frustrated at all the tailgaters and lane weavers on this lonely stretch, our self-appointed patron saint against the road ragers of the world raises his noodle in salute while lowering his visor. For he has met another opponent of the good and decent, another violator of highway etiquette. For who would enforce the ways of the road if it werent for him? Lowering the noodle to jousting position, ready for battle now, he quixotically tilts against his villain, running as fast as his legs can carry his armored paunch. Perhaps this one will learn, perhaps this one will remember to stay out of the left lane, he thinks. The noodle made solid contact against the right headlight of the kenworth shortly before harmlessly rebounding into the median, never to be noticed again. "aHa! I have struck thee!", was our nameless hero's last thought. "What was that?" said the driver.

Not only can a dash cam provide you with security, but it can help others as well if you happen to witness the event. You can also recap crazy "near miss" moments or show your friends people getting pulled over. Win-win-win-win.

Story holds no validity. OP mentioned the pool noodle was already there.:anonymous:

"what in holy moses fuck are you doing?" Rock Lobster's supervisor was in a foul mood today. "I dunno, makin up stories on the innernet, I guess," mumbled rock lobster. "You have time to do that, but no time to get that stats analysis that was due last week? I think you and I need to schedule an appointment with HR."

And thats how the saga ends.

Not sure if it matters by state, but where I live you don't need to wait for any cops for a little bumper scrape like that. Exchange info and then go home and call your insurance.

Well, this thread certainly inspired me to pick up a dashcam. I guess I'll be wiring it in this weekend.

Seriously? For a scuffed bumper? This is what's wrong with the world today.

Are you serious?!?! That comment right there is everything that is wrong with the world today. Dude gets his bumper dinged and you want to sue the guy.

I assumed it was like that in every state.
