It’s pretty cool and it’s in the authentic DNA of your truck frankly I’d leave it, see if you come around to it. It’s the kind of thing that makes people ponder.

You ponied up for the Pro, enjoy that beauty! Don’t get too sidetracked on the cosmetics.

If thats the case OP could've asked the dealer to take the snorkel off and replace it with a fender with no hole. When you buy a brand new car, the dealership usually gives you an option to install or uninstall options before the contract is finalized. This usually does depend on how badly the dealer wants to make that sale. I bought a TRDOR and left the lot with TRDPRO grill done by the dealership.

My diesel mechanic father tried his best to explain it in mechanical terms. " Son a women gets uhmm well uhmm wet down there it's uhmm like well it's uhmm ..........like a fine 10 weight machine oil, that's it son, like a light machine oil, got to reduce that friction you know......"

I can still remember that 1/2 hour of uhmms like it was yesterday. Didn't have the heart to interrupt him to say you know what Dad I've already got it figured out you're a little late for the 'talk'.

I don't have one, can't say for sure, but it seems you will loose ability to have oem roof rack, the aftermarket ones you can probably fab some kind mount that will attach snorkel to them.

    Not enough to list
Trade the truck in. Or put a roof rack on to hide the long Dangus.

I know this isn't a real snorkel lol but do people really drive Tacomas in enough water to need a snorkel? Has to be like .01% of people with real snorkels that actually have used it on a gen 3 Tacoma.

Snorkels are more meant for less "dirty" air intake, not necessarily for water crossings. It's attempting to draw in cleaner air away from the ground, that's why they are used a lot in desert vehicles

It's primary function is cooler and cleaner air for dust. It's also a true cold air intake.

    Water is just a bonus

It actually could come in handy if you worked every day out logging, some serious dust on forest service roads.
