I like our small groups because we can go fast and cover decent ground

 

Yeah I was thinking that too. Easier to organize, keep people together and what not if the group is relatively small

 

Plus, when camping, we can get our own campsites/spots which i prefer to have my own.

Yeah. But with all that said, I still want to see as many TW guys there as possible haha, I want everyone to be included and still haven't gotten to meet most of yall yet.

I always say, i don’t want it to feel like a “good ol’ boys” club when people come up here. If we end up with 20 trucks, great! But if only a half dozen show up, thats great too.

Typically the people that really know each other already are the ones that camp together in a group site. I’m not an avid camper so I like my space and my own cite. I have a few that i like and i’ll try to snag one early. I also try to pack up early enough to be able to head over to the other site(s) and round up all the members when we do trails.

It would really be fun to do a short night run of some trails on saturday and then thrash and cover lots of ground on sunday before people have to head back home.

I plan on being in GR by 1pm Saturday. I’ll pick my site. Set up camp. And explore a little, maybe do some hiking or just ride around and see what roads are closed. Then make dinner and contact the other campers to maybe do a night run. Sleep the nght and get up on sunday so we can hit some trails before everybody splits up to go home by 3-4pm sunday afternoon

 

Yeah my buddy and I will get there early in the day on Saturday. Late morning or early afternoon. Never been before so I want to leave plenty of time to explore on Saturday.

 

What time & location is everyone meeting up Saturday?

 

I'm not familiar with the area. @AR15xAR10 Should we meet somewhere outside of the park and ride in together? I know those of us who are camping will need to register for a camping spot at the headquarters area on the way in. I don't think everybody will be camping so I want to be able to hit the trails on Saturday too. Maybe meet around noon?

 

Noon? That's kinda late. I was thinking like 10am Fifteen mile rd.? By the juvenile center.

 

Yeah but my reasoning is that since we're camping we can get away with arriving a bit later on Saturday. But i'm down for whatever. That location works for me... Maybe we should move this over to the MD/VA/PA meetup thread so the others can chime in

 

Ok, I'm not camping just going for the day. I'll meet up whatever time works for everyone.

 

Wanna do 11am at the location you mentioned? We could always meet up separately with others who might be arriving later.

I believe they are out of Pasadena. I was approached by a member who also has an Inferno Taco.
Their rules seem pretty straight forward and sensible. I didn't see any rules about guns or gun talk.
- No bashing on folks.
- No politics.
- Keep the language in check.
- There was a 4th rule but I forgot what that was.

This may give @EatSleepTacos cult a run for their money.
