The best time to buy a depreciating asset is as far in the future from "now" as you can reasonably get along without it.

Also, the sunroof is part of the premium package for Sports and Off Roads, the Pro doesn't come with one.

It pays to develop relationships. The salesmen at Toyota out here are weird. They really give you the impression that them selling you a TRD Sport is blessing you with a gift.

Last Labor Day my father in law bought a 2018 TRD Sport, the dealership in Nicholasville Ky was offering 5500 off MSRP on all TRD’s except Pro’s...

WTF? They may be worth contacting. I can get the truck shipped here for $1200 and split the fare with them. I'ma google that dealership and see if they have what I need. An access cab calvary blue is like finding the hope diamond.

Something wrong with this statement. My target vehicle has premium but no roof.

I bought my truck in early October 2018, just as the 19's were showing up. It seemed like I was well within the window where no more 18's were being delivered, and that gave me decent negotiation ability.

MSRP makes sense for Premium package model. Gotta factor in CA sales tax though :crapstorm:

I guess I should have specified: only trucks that can fit a sunroof, aka DC, not AC. :bananadead:

I was looking at the Tech pkg... rear sonar is just an audible tone when close to object? (no cam view). Blind spot monitor is just an icon on dash? in starting to think the '20 full camera systems will make my tech package irrelevant. With TSS and cams, The truck will be 21'st century.

Sonar you are correct. Blind spot monitoring is either the side mirror with a lights on only signal, or its the audible sound when back out of a parking space and someone walking or driving goes behind you.

You have a technology package and a premium technology package, the premium has the sunroof along with heated seats and JBL sound...

Access cab. doesn't mention JBL either. I have a Benz with Distronic. I live in the city and love adaptive cruise. I use it daily. The '20's may even include lane assist. I better wait a year.
