I don’t know. If you look closely at the top “darker” photo you can see it’s bubbled up below the chip. I’m no paint guy but it looks like the primer didn’t stick in that spot and lifted.

Is that where Toyota originally put the black vinyl?

I personally am having rust problems on my 18 OR. It's showing up through my white paint. Waiting on the Toyota Rep to come back with what they will do about it.

I hear ya man. My heart sank, but it’ll be good as new by Thursday and I think it looks way better without. I’ve not seen anyone else have this issue so you’re probably ok!

OEM Bed mat... this thing is heavy with tons of grip. Great compliment to the Tonneau cover.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Powder coated my Alum Baja Low Profile Bumper today. Picked this up on a Black Friday 20% off sale. I am stoked I went the route I did, after a serious amount of research.
Bought it thru @state48overland and have had nothing but a straight up good experience with them. Awesome customer service and made some new wheelin buddies on the west coast.
The Demello Offroad Bumper from @JDEMELLO is a work of art, I am one picky SOB and this bumper has my mouth watering. The gussets behind this bumper are insaine.
If your in the market check them out.
I can’t wait to get it on the truck and out on the trails. The reassurance I can already feel, is more than worth it.

Exactly. Just don’t want to “hide” the BSM. There will be an appropriate rocker or OEM long switch at some point and then I will put in the cubby.

Those look like the stock off-roads. Either powder coated or with the black vinyl sticker and an aftermarket TRD center-cap

You get the domed? I’m thinking of getting the raw to eliminate that plastic gloss shine.

yeah it does the same to me when I see it but it looks nice and it is a cheaper option than aftermarket wheels

Just curious but are you speaking of small orange dots? If so, it's not an issue that toyota will fix, it's actually iron fallout. Metal shavings are constantly floating in the air then tend to land on vehicles. They embed themselves into the clear coat, and then the actually iron particles rust, not the truck. This is an easy fix with a clay bar. If its particularly bad I'll hit it with iron x first. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone who might not know. Hopefully it will save you an annoying battle with Toyota

Yes I got domed, I’m really happy with it. I was stuck between raw and domed but went with domed because of the more finished look
