I thought I heard it was supposed to be carried on a flag pole, running forward, if that makes sense.

Our flag always advances, never retreats. Suppose to be the highest and on the left. Position of honor. So for instance state flag need to be below it or if they are on the same level the American flag needs to be in the left.

If this trucks graphics were done to support the Wounded Warrior project it should have had that organizations logo and flags on ea fender only

 

The salesman just said that the guy who does it for the dealership has a relationship with Gary sinus and wounded warrior, not sure this truck promotion is formally affiliated

 

I have come to know that sales reps from every industry are true to their word, especially when it is vaguely worded like this.

I had a friend who use to organize hunting trips for disabled vets, it was very low profile but they used some imagery that was similar to WW artwork on a home printed flyer hung up in a legion post or Amvets, and a cease & desist was received real quick. This was back around 2014 before all the stuff went public, but it was pretty obvious THEN if you needed help all WW would send were posters, hats, and conference swag. Lt Dan and his bunch of cons can fuck right off. I don't see what the appeal is. If you want to help service members or veterans, help them. Doesn't take much to get an address to send stuff, next time you're at Walmart get extra razors, instant coffee, drink mix, baby powder, shit you always forget when you go on a trip. Non-denominational or generic holiday cards. Pictures of things around your town.

This thread is brutal. Everyone has so much anger nowadays. All I pointed out was that they had the decal applied incorrectly and thought that was interesting given it being a dealership.

 

American flag, since it is not symmetrical, always assaults forward. Imagine it is on a pole and carried forward, the stripes always flap backwards and the blue stars point forward.
