Hey Guys, Had my first road trip in the Tacoma TRD Sport DCSB today. About 300 miles Round Trip, 3000 miles on the truck now. I am very pleased with how it did. Used the Cruse Control and was pleased. Ran at 74mph (1900rpm) and it downshifted or unlocked the Torque Converter maybe three times total on inclines. Not bad in regular drive mode IMO. Had it up to 80mph a few times and everything was smooth no vibrations. I love my Tacoma.

Nice. My first big one was Austin TX to pagosa springs Colorado. About 1500 miles round trip. Truck was a champ. Having all my light bars helped a lot too through New Mexico in the middle of the night and all the deer, and other creatures running through the road.
Glad it went well for you OP. Cheers to many more

Nice I recently did a 2100 mile trip with my wife and two kids.. I figured it wouldn't be very comfortable on the long days especially but it really wasn't bad at all. Truck did great.

I didn't post any pics because my trip was business only for the day. It is nice to see some nice scenery posted but I had none to share.
