I sat in a 2019 Tundra TRD Pro the other day, those things are HUGE. There's more room in the cab than in my Tahoe

I looked at one from the outside and peered through the windows for quite awhile while I was killing time, and agree. They're enormous and have all the interior features of a Cadillac and a back seat bigger than both my newer economy cars.

I asked myself, what's the purpose of this thing?

It's a big nice car with a small bed for 50k. Each their own.

my city had to bust out the big guns this past winter
drowned the main roads in calcium chloride to destroy an inch of ice under a foot of snow after a nasty blizzard and temps well below freezing for extended period
that is the nasty stuff I have never seen before used that way!
they left the residential streets to mother nature to melt

I've been driving in northern CA for 30 years have never been forced to submit to a vehicle inspection. We have to pass smog and the regulations differ by county.

Looks like my truck 3 years ago when I bought it, 24k original miles on the ODO. I paid about $20k for it.

Been through quite a few changes though in the last few years lol.

3rd Gen has had some time to catch up, but viewing some of the threads those guys are dealing with a lot of warranty claims.

Holy shit this is the truth... Go venture over there if you need a laugh. 2017 trucks have fading roofs and hoods.

Warped grills too if I remember correctly?

Weird howling noises through their HVAC?

Having owned a 04', that I liked a lot, it had coolant issues over the 11yrs of possession.it was a great truck till it got totaled. It performed excellent in the crash none of the 3 of us received any injuries. Dam black ice and trees. My experience with the 3rd gen better ride, handling and more space in cab and box.
