We just set-up camp at East Pocket. We have a spot that's a little more secluded than the rest, also a bunch of room here if anyone is interested. It's a 25 mile dirt road drive to the expo but the view makes it worth it!!!

Looks like it is somewhere along edge of the world. Lots of great camping along there.

Anytime dude. It's not a big secrete but still prefer to PM coordinates if you want them. Too many people trashing the land with no fucks to give these days. Gotta protect the nice places.

Saw an abundance of overlanding rigs looking way too shiny sitting at hotel parking lots on my drive into town this morning. Cough cough posers cough cough.

 

I saw a Honda Fit with a RTT on it the other day, I had a good laugh thinking that person is probably so committed they have been down sketchier roads than most of the purpose built rigs.

 

There’s a Kia Soul up here for the expo with a rtt and shower system. Saw it last year too.

We’re successfully at the camp spot. @Tsinajinii tent is still there, thank you. Its windy as fuck, we might push into the trees for a little cover. We are currently at Mother Road Brewing discussing the finer things in life.

The wind is brutal as fawk! I'd say it's a sustained 40+mph on the rim here at east pocket. Gust are rocking the trailer.

 

Something popped up last minute with work, so i won't be able to make it to camp tonight, but I will be there tomorrow night.

Don't get blown away!
