    No particular data to back it up, but I set mine to 5700. The highest I ever saw it shift at with the UCON was 5705.

    The APR X1 started the 6200 redline. Then the first batch of Ucons years later followed suit. Then URD dropped their ucon redline in increments apparently to 5700 as other batches were made over the years. Curious if auto vs stick is different too? I’m debating what redline to do with hptuner whenever I get to it. Regardless, it’s a good question. Forged internals and 7k :D

    5700 seems low when stock trd is 5800. I wonder why they dropped it.

    Can someone confirm that the stock TRD cal's redline is infact 200 rpms taller than a N/A'd tune (5600 rpms).

    IMO theres no point, our 1gr's just dont make top end power, they flatline and actually dip down past the 5k rpm mark.

    My truck has always shifted right at 5500, on my ultra gauge I have gotten a warning that it reached 5553 rpms since I set the max to 5500 on it. That only happened one time when I was going down a hill a little quickly *in mexico*.

    I can confirm trd cal is 5800. Don't know stock limit though.

    Next, in my spelunking into auto trans tuning. I found it rather odd the shift pressures of 3-5 gears (which are all the same values) have a high pressure spike at the 20% throttle position. Im wondering why that is.

    FYI gears 1 and 2 have the same values

    Also would I be correct in thinking that upping values of say 100% throttle position would firm up WOT shifts? (obviously no higher than 540)

    Installed my 'off-road' update. Only went around the block and I can easily tell the truck is much more responsive.

    @JustDSM :thumbsup:, WOW! 93 octane program put in.

    Now I need to fab some block off plates. I'll be going for emissions soon and will post if there are any issues.

    Just got done reading all 142 pages after 3 days, I know what I'm getting next paycheck...

    So is it possible to recalibrate the speed sensor for bigger wheels or not?

    Also who is selling the block-off plates ?

    @HPTuners if my truck is currently an auto and I plan on swapping in a manual transmission, can your tuner flash the ecu to work with the manual trans or would I have to get an ecu from a manual truck?

    HPT can not flash a different CAL to the truck, you would either need a different ECU or the "mongoose" cable to flash a manual trans cal.

    I’m currently running a auto Ecu in my manual. It works/runs great. Just drove 250 miles without a single hiccup or CEL
