To OP, longo has you covered. When Pros start shipping, they'll be one of the first to get them given their volume. And if you are on the list, piece of cake. You just have to wait until they are released and they go down the list. Everyone has to put down a $500 refundable deposit or something like that.

im already on the list. roughly number 30? i think. i tried to put down a deposit but he told me it doesnt make a difference. i tried the whole cash thing to make myself more marketable and serious but doesnt seem to work in anymore favors lol. so i guess i just wait... would like to be the first set of people to get one instead of waiting around. im trying mutiple dealerships so i can be head of line whenever it does ship.

If you you've never had a truck before, I'd say just buy a Raptor and be done.

I would love to buy in any state other than cali. But correct me if I'm wrong, I must pay California tax due to my residency here. I would just pay price of vehicle and pay my taxes at dmv here in cali.

I bought mine out of state, paid NC taxes. The salesguy said since I bought in a bordering state (Va) there wouldnt be any extra fees. But he did say if I was to buy cross country, there may be extra taxes. Depends on the state I guess.

Hey OP, If there's one thing I've learned in life it's that if you do/have something someone doesn't, 100% of the time they'll tell you why it was a bad choice. Threads with "PRO" in the title attract the flies.

Yep it's a waiting game and cash or finance, doesn't matter (they probably prefer financing in house to make origination fees). Anyways that's not that bad and probably half those people want autos and/or a specific color too so as they start arriving you'll get phone calls offering units that like 8 people passed on. Really not too bad of a process. If they had the FJ yellow pop up, I'd be #1 on the list
