    Your bisects don’t get rubbery?

My MIL seems to think it’s ok to “bake” potatoes in the microwave.

While in New York, I learned microwaves are used for Bagel storage.

While visiting family in NY, I went out and bought a few dozen bagels one evening for breakfast the next morning. I got up early before everyone else. The Bagels were gone. I was pissed, looked everywhere, well almost everywhere. They were not in the bread box, not in any cupboard, not in the fridge, didn’t even see the bags in the trash. Thankfully somebody got up about half hour later and got a bagel. I was like where to fuck did you find that? They said something like , in the microwave, where else would you keep them.

No. But I have had that happen. I think Brest turning really hard or rubbery in a microwave has a lot to do with the microwave.

“Baking” a potatos in the microwave is like @NunyaBizness putting a steak in.

What the fuck? They just store them in the microwave? Never known my family in NY to day that.

I didn’t say my wife’s family was normal.

Once some of her family brought Bagels up to us from New York. We were thankful but once they left we tossed the Dunkin Donuts Bagels delivered to New England from New York.

This Saturday/Sunday @Shellshock and myself are going to do a run down the Missouri Overland Trail. It’s not going to be any bad “off-roading” and any stock vehicle should be able to join if they want.
@Shellshock and myself are camping the night in the mark twain forest Saturday, but there will be plenty of places to peel off if you want to return home that same day.

I don’t know if anyone is close! But wanted to throw it out there

If you’re interested in joining, we will be at the Mobile in St Clair at 10 am —> 1445 N Main St #44, St Clair, MO 63077
Here is pretty much the route that we’re going to take-

Mark Twain Forest is loaded up with Bigfoots, or would that be Bigfeets? Either way, be careful up there, they tend to get pissy amongst intruders.

My wife stores all bread products in the microwave.

I believe this is a habit created when she lived in a small apartment and didnt have counter space for a breadbox.

It has fully transferred over to our 2000 sq ft house, with ample counter space and quite completely frustrates and infuriates me when I have to remove 4 or 5 bread products to microwave my food (not steak, what kind of monster nukes steak....).
