2x4 Tires

i know this may sound dumb..but i only have 2 wheel drive so what kind of tires should i get so i can compinsate for not having 4x4???

i was thinking BFG Muds??

 

well cant really TOTALLY compensate obviously but i feel your pain, i bought some at tires and they were sooooo much better in the dirt and sand then the stock tires. something like bfg's should do the job!

o and idk if id go with a mud tire, the look mean as hell but if you plan on getting into any kind of sand they tend to dig instead of "float" but as long as its not beach sand or something you should be good to go

 

Depends, what are you trying to do with your truck? Is it primarily on pavement and you're planning for winter or do you plan on off-roading?

 

i am deff running mostly on pavement but would frequently take it to the pits by my house which is mostly dirt or mud..

 

BFG Mud-Terrains or Wrangler MT/R's with Kevlar

You should be able to push your way through quite a bit with those on the back.

 

Good quality tire chains can make you truck do wonders. I've used the 'inverted V' chains with my Prerunner and they have done great.
