Says 350A continuous and 600A intermittent. Warn claims that their Zeon 10 draws 410A at max load so this should work great.

My parts pile for the front end is coming together nicely. I'm picking up the little odds and ends at this point before the big install. I'm looking to get cam tab and shock tower gussets from TC but i noticed on the site they mention that the shock tower gussets will only work with TC kits (be it mid travel or LT). I'm assuming that's a marketing ploy to get you to consider running their kits as opposed to the next guys? theoretically it should work with any LT kit that mounts into the shock tower, right?

Yeah they say that *I think* because different companies may have slightly different width uca bushings and so the gussets might have to be ground down or a little bigger of a gap might have to be filled up. Since most uca's are made to use the stock through bolt I don't think there's a design that prohibits the use of the shock tower gussets, but maybe just call BTF and ask? Maybe they have some they could sell you too?

You may also have clearance issues the the UCA depending on how the gusset design is. At full bump you may make contact.

yeah thats pretty much what i figured. the geometry doesn't change with the through bolt angle or length from kit to kit id imagine. im gunna message brandon and see what he says later today. i dont think itll be a problem but im gunna run it by him before i pull the trigger and get them regardless

If I had to do it again I'd make my own. Buy a scrap sheet of 3/16" cold rolled, make some cardboard cutouts a little bigger than needed, drill 4 holes, grind to fit and reliefs as necessary for any bolt access you may want, and you're there. You can get stainless brake lines that go from the hard lines bolted to the frame and delete the last little hard line that the stock hoses connect to - I got some that did that with my kit and it cleans up the shock tower.

Next time your under the fender take a pic. I’d be curious to see how it looks. I’ll probably just buy the tc and use that but I’m curious about the fab’d gusset

Sounds like a lot of work for something that you can buy for sub $100 and will fit almost perfectly. I'm all for making my own shit within reason. Just making an observation.

Yeah I’m probably just going to buy the tc for the convenience. Plus I’ve spent a bunch of cash and waited so long I’m just eager to get everything on the truck ASAP. :D

TC ones fit my Dirt Designs Kit just fine. I had them there already for mid travel and the long travel arms slid right in no issues.

There's plenty of room in that TC gusset to adjust it so any UCA will fit. You'll have to do some fitting on the part anyway to weld it on.

Not too bad - the more you fab stuff up, eventually it gets faster. Here's some frame caps, gussets, and fill-in plates for my bumper - not too bad of a project that has most of the same processes needed to make the tower gussets. I bought a big scrap sheet of metal for $30. I save whatever I can and use it towards things I can't make on my truck. I've got a lot of time though.

Do you have a +3.5 or +2? Cause I’ve thought about that one is it the big firestone next to the Laguna Hills mall and in n out or the little one off like Rockfield next to Bru and goodwill?

TC 3.5 LT, RCV axles, Demello sliders, BD light bar/fogs, LP6, DMZ rear, SOS skids, custom bumper, King 16" triples, Locked-on hydro rear bumps...
I was advised by tc specifically pat to use the stock bumps as recommended in the install manual. He stated that the middle region of the LCA may be subject to deformation and possibly breach warranty if hydro bumps are used. The rubber ones will be ok although I hear they die pretty fast. Keep in mind that tc is exclusive in this design feature as I think all other manufacturers recommend hydros up front or similar.
