I can't compare the Pros to these but I can say that noise has not been an issue for me so far. Time will tell but so far they are on par w/ my previous Toyo Open Country R/Ts....maybe just a touch louder but not a bother.

I’ve got the pros right now, the g003s will mostly be next.

I've got a little over 11,000 mi on mine and the noise has increased ever so slightly but it's still not bad by any means.

Just checked my tread depth and I'm at 15-16/32nds all around. My fronts are a little lower in the centers so I'm going to drop them from 37 to 36 psi. I'm still on pace for ~40,000 mi.

Just to clarify, they definitely hum and have since day one. They're just not quite as deafening as you'd expect for such an aggressive tire.

I've had a set of Yokohama Geolandar G003 tires on my FJ Cruiser for about a year and a half with solid results although they are louder now than when they were put on. Being a M/T tire I expected them to make more noise than the Yokohama Geolandar G015 tires. They are not unbearable but do make more road noise. I love the off-road traction and looks of them and they are wearing very well.

Please let us know if we can help you out with a set of them or the Cooper STT Pros.

How do they ride on road? Are they really stiff or do they have a little give to them? My S/T Maxx tires I currently have are pretty stiff. I’m looking for something that’ll do well Offroad but not ride like it has concrete flinstones tires when daily driving.

The ride is awesome on my FJ. They ride smooth and quiet on-road (for an M/T) and have good traction off-road.

Please let us know if we can assist you with a set.

You might NOT....I'm being told the prices I got were "a friend's deal" and not available to the public. Good friend is franchised owner of a tire shop in Louisville area.

How would you guys compare the performance for these mt's to others say like bfg or any of the other big name brands. Do you feel that they are on par with?
The price point of these is pretty awesome.

I haven’t had any other MT’s but they’ve outperformed AT’s I’ve had. I had Duratracs, KO2’s and Ridge Grapplers. The Yoks did awesome in sand, snow, mud and rock so far. They gripped really well in Moab last week. I went up Hell’s Gate with no tires spinning at all.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I will be rolling with a set of these next. I have Toyo RTs on my FJC, KM2s on the Taco, General Grabbers x3 on the Tundra.
All work well, had some Falken AT3s not long ago, got stuck like chuck with those so they sold.
I want to try these out on my 4runner.
My hope is they are as quiet and smooth as the RTs, that would be sweet.
The x3 is super soft and I am sure it will wear quickly, especially on such a heavy truck.
    So many tires!

@BVita had RT’s before he went Yoks. He can probably tell you the ride/noise difference

I appreciate you linking me with someone with some input
@BVita would you mind sharing your thoughts on the Yoks in comparison to the RTs? And if possible, how they might even compare to the General X3s.

I went from the RTs(55k miles) to the G003s and so far I've got about 3k miles on them. I really, really liked the RTs but wanted to try something less expensive. Overall I'm happy w/ the tire but I will say that they are a little louder than the RTs and, although they do ride smooth, you can feel the lugs in a slow turn which is something I never noticed w/ the Toyos. I also got better MPGs w/ the Toyos and I have seen/heard some rubbing a few times which never happened w/ the RTs. None of these are complaints, just differences I have noticed. So far I've off-roaded twice w/ the G003s and have been very pleased w/ them. They inspire confidence on the trail for sure. As of right now I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on them again.

Pic is from Monday on the Metberry Gulch trail. No issues heading down or back up.

    I’ve had ko2’s, RT’s, yoks, and now km3’s.

I was very happy with the RT’s but wanted to try the yoko’s out. from a daily driver standpoint, I’d say the rt’s would be better. It is a hybrid being compared to a mud terrain.

Daily driving the g003 wasn’t horrible as some may make it to be. I didn’t mind it on my commute. They seemed to be near quiet for the initial amount of miles, they did develop to have noise as it wore in like any other tire. It is a soft tire, I’d say softer than the RT. Driving in different conditions did not worry me. I was hesitant at first in the rain, but it held up pretty good.

The best part about the g003 is the measurement, it is a taller and I believe wider tire than the RT. At least it was for the 285/75/16

I’d run the yokohama again. I actually wanted to do another set, but I went km3 for the price for a 315/75/16
