I'd be down for that. I prefer DP's to Cabela's anyway. Distance wise, its a few exits down from the Cabela's exit in American Fork, so really not that much of a change.

Personally, I like Philidelphian and East Coast Subs over DP, but they're the complete wrong direction.

I know the way easily and could give simple directions for those who can't read maps :D then you all can follow me up the canyon

For those planning to head to Forest Lake after, we might have some company.

    http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=76638
Rocky Mountain Extreme is taking some scouts up to the lake the night before and the scouts will be hiking back down on Saturday. No clue on when or direction the scouts will be traveling. Probably will be long gone by the time we get there though.

    http://www.wasatchcruisers.org/vbulletinfrm/showthread.php?7613-August-Club-Run-American-Fork-Canyon...
Wasatch Cruisers is having a run in AF this weekend as well, although they aren't planned to travel to Forest Lake as a group, there's a good chance we'll see them on the road at some point since they are hanging out around the same area our main run will go through.

So, nothing that will really get in our way, but just a heads up to keep your eyes open for some others.

Those are some lucky scouts. I never got to go rock crawling or anything like like when I was a scout.

It would be pretty cool to run into the Wasatch Cruisers group.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for us Greg.

Tell me about it... Best I had was some camping... Spoiled kids these days...

I'd kinda like to run into the WC group as well. I'm seriously considering signing up with them as a member since they accept all types of 4x4 Toyotas and for the most part, seem to be doing the difficulty I'd like to, although they do go a bit above that sometimes, but they tend to do mostly mild to medium runs.

Let me know if you go on any runs with the WC group, I would be interested in going.

Will do, but I'm not sure how they'll look upon a non-member inviting others along. ;)

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to sign up on their forums and start the process of getting to know them. (after you sign up, make sure to read the activation email, as it requires you email an admin after you activate so they can activate you as well. --I kinda missed this step as I'm used to those emails not containing any information...)

From what I understand, you must attend 2 of their monthly runs before they'll even consider allowing you to become a member, so there's really nothing out of pocket to try it out.

I would be able to get talked into going, but with out a run, it seems a bit far to travel for just dinner. Since I'm not into gambling or drinking, there really isn't that much for me down there. Guess there's always strippers, but that gets expensive quick... It'd have to be a serious run, with maybe an overnight thing for me to make that trip.

If you're talking about the huge Vegas meet, that is just way too many people for me to feel comfortable around, so I'll pass.
