Yeah, the 4G spike has been nuts!

Could net you a Booker's 30th, a Big Man, Small Batch, and a kicker at the least. :anonymous:

Forgot to post... got a hold of this the other night... was really really hyped so I think I had too high of expectations. Not that it is bad. I was just expecting world changing. It is really good though and if it were easy to get here, I would stock a couple on the shelf for sure.

My open bottles count is getting up there now...

Yeah, I caught the Booker's Rye just as prices started to climb. Was around $675 when I started getting really interested, then spent a while at $750 or so, but when I got mine, I felt like I got a deal at a valuation of $840 shipped. Will be kissing a grand here pretty soon.

$1050 fills instantly on them and auctions end at the same price point. It's there... :spending:

But I'll give ya tree fiddy :D

Speaking of Colonel EHT4G... I drove out today to a liquor store that had one back during spring break... it was marked $350 and at the time they were selling for around $400 secondary so I passed on it. So I figured why not go check and see if it’s still there and maybe I can talk the guy down a bit. Well it was gone but these guys were sitting on the shelf so it wasn’t a total bust. They had stagg jr to but it was marked up to $90 which is over secondary...

There's a store a bit of a distance away that specializes in bourbon and Scotch that I've been wanting to look at. Finally was close enough today to check it out. They had a Compass Box Oak Cross listed on line so I thought I'd pick it up. I've been meaning to increase my Scotch inventory but I always seem to but bourbon or rye instead.

Frack me, the listing was wrong so no Oak Cross. But they had a lot of other very yummy stuff. Wouldn't you know it, walked out with 2 bottles of bourbon and no Scotch! Got a Stagg Jr and Weller 107. Took a few picks as well.

    My new additions

    EFC9BE1A-7F68-458A-8D5F-F4E840A81868.jpg

Already had 2 of the Special Reserves. Really shouldn't have bought the giant botttle...

Never seen the age statement Hibiki's. All the rare stuff was behind the counter and he let me rummage through it. Pricey stuff.

Apparently this is a new offering of Four Roses

Saw this at the grocery store on my way home. The bottle toppers are getting interesting!

What was the price on that Four Roses? I might Cost + Ship on that one if you're willing.

Also, Spice Tree > Oak Cross ;). Especially since you dig ryes.

Both are excellent - especially for the dollar - however. :D

Edit: That Rouge is from the Rogue Brewery guys, if I recall? Haven't had the stuff, but it'd explain the cool topper. Their label art on the cans is pretty cool.

@bvbull200 - the bourbon store has it for $56.99. I'll be out of town for graduations all next week and the soonest I could get back up there would be the following week. I did look at the local total wines and see they have it in stock for $59.99 + tax. I can probably swing by there tomorrow if your interested? Be glad to ship it to you.

As for the Ezra... Sweet oak notes and that high proof smell. Thinner viscosity than expected. Taste is sweet up front. Normal vanilla and maybe apple? Then the heat. Good heat. Hair on your chest. Fades away though. Again, if it were more readily available, I'd stock up more.
