You're right they are expensive. Custom made to order pieces of art. Let us know where you can buy a knob made with custom weight, materials, and engraved with whatever you can dream of for less...or at all. :)

@7r41lbr34k3r also made mine. Yes, a little more $$, but he also offers many options. And it's a nice piece of machined artwork to look at. Offered for AT or MT, interlocks with the boot for a clean look.

Thanks. Did you have to shim it to get it screwed on in right orientation?

For that style of knob, there will be a jam nut on the bottom to fix the orientation.

You can see it in the OP's second pic.

TRD pro knob vs. knob in OP post...any hands-on comparisons?

A number of vehicles ago I used a RockNob as my shifter. It was... unique. Surprisingly comfortable, 3 months out of the year. The rest of the time it was hot enough to leave a brand if it sat out in the sun.

And so help me if I ever made the mistake of lugging the clutch, that 20-foot tall stick would deliver a brutal rapid-fire beating to my thigh

    IMG_3589 (1).jpg

Would I do it again? Hell yes. It was a fun shifter.

I think mine was custom made, it came with my truck, looked everywhere for the same knob and no luck, but absolutely love it!

Nice. I have that one too...as well as a few others. This one matches the Cement color well.

Had that grey factory TRD one on my 2nd gen and would definitely recommend. It's got good weight and feels great.
