I am lifted on Dakars, so I am no stranger to rear suspension squeaks. However, this time it is different than usual and I have not been able to find a solution.

I am getting a squeak when I shift gears or accelerate/brake quickly (axle/spring wrap), but not when I cycle the suspension through a full flex up or down. Normally the flexing is when the squeaking is the loudest when the springs need lubrication. I have a hunch it could be from one of the shock bushings but I don't know truly where it could be coming from.

Trying to avoid tearing apart the whole suspension and bushings to grease everything again, has anyone had a similar problem and could lead me to a specific part of the rear suspension that might be the cause of this squeak? I've tried searching and found nothing fruitful.

U-bolts are all good and tight at 80 ft-lbs.

Check to make sure your spare tire is tightened. I had the same experience and it made me nuts til I found it

Could also be your front UCA bushings squeaking from the front lurching during a shift

Maybe it’s not suspension related? Possibly the clutch?

+1 for the spare tire. Buddy had the same problem. Drove us insane trying to figure it out. He ended up flipping the seating of the spare or it was flipped which was why it was causing the squeak
