any thoughts on this for the bed underneath the rear window, looking for something to have bolted to the truck bed to strap down, tie down or some way to hold 4 jerry cans, 2 gas 2 water.. Or am I way off on this ?

I was putting my raised tailgate letters on today and I never noticed I did not get the "M" until I was ready for it. So I'm driving around for a few days with "TACO" on my tailgate till BDTrims send my "M."

If yes, cut out the bar stock that goes in to the hitch receiver and install a stiffer one. That will bend easily under force and you will have the basket dragging on the ground behind you

No worries, my friend. I have one that bent so that’s why I mentioned it. Just be careful to not overload it. You’d be surprised at what can cause that to bend
