any thoughts on this for the bed underneath the rear window, looking for something to have bolted to the truck bed to strap down, tie down or some way to hold 4 jerry cans, 2 gas 2 water.. Or am I way off on this ?

Do you plan to Offroad with that?

If yes, cut out the bar stock that goes in to the hitch receiver and install a stiffer one. That will bend easily under force and you will have the basket dragging on the ground behind you

Those are polaroids but it's a good idea. There is a video on YouTube about it.

No, I don't plan on it. I don't think mine would do well off-road, it's a 2.7 2WD. I do appreciate the advice, though, thank you.

No worries, my friend. I have one that bent so that’s why I mentioned it. Just be careful to not overload it. You’d be surprised at what can cause that to bend

I've finally received my first Meso mod! So easy to install, that I thought I did it wrong. I'm an official addict waiting to throw money at him as soon as I get that "in stock" email. Pics don't do it justice, but I damn near burned my retina after I hooked these up . . 20190515_181308.jpg 20190515_181409.jpg 20190515_182945.jpg

What exactly is the reason for this? Is it to prevent water intrusion?

    Exactly.

Sensor could detect water as an object and apply the brakes
