Why is it that when someone puts in feedback or ideas we have a couple rabid dogs come out who feel someone personally attacked Matt and come out to defend him as if he personally hired them lmao.

As previously mentioned, I am aware it's on page one. That's where I always check for updates, but not everyone does or has time to read through multiple pages. There's a lot of info that gets lost around mixed up with useless posts such as yours which only repeats what other members already replied .

Having info show up on the software about the nature of the tune that the user selects, specially for fixes like these that don't affect everyone(I was one of them) would not be hard at all to implement and would be neat, that's all there is to it.

Even an embedded link to OV's website when highlighting each tune with more info about it would be great. There is a reason why software is constantly updated to make it more user friendly and informative.

Would be interesting to know the percentage having issues. But they should just flash back to 1.05 and not open a trouble ticket. lol

Hey Mat is the tip-in of the base 1.05 tunes the same as the base 1.05.1 tunes? Specifically 91 base?

Oh my bad, I assumed that was for base and performance but you're right he didn't specify.

When attempting to clear the Learned Values, I get a notification that it is unsuccessful. The AT values clear with no issue. Any ideas?

Not for me, the new 93 perf has a perfect tip-in feel, the previous was too much which is
why I went to 87 perf. I've got about 200 miles on 1.05.1 93 perf. and have no plans of changing. :mudding:

All I can say is...I must have had the Shutter issue or whatever the problem was without even realizing it.. I flashed 1.05.1 87 base about 3 days ago. Been driving the same route morning and evening back and forth to work and the truck has never ran so well. Noticed it immediately after flashing but also noticed a few tiny quirks here and there due to learning. Last nights drive home it must have really started to figure things out because it really drove good. (Same tank of fuel as initial flash) The smooth linear acceleration with moderate throttle was great. It literally felt like my truck finally out grew the crazy 2-stroke powerband that it had in it’s adolescence.

Does anyone know or remember what page had the link to the “Fuel Nozzle Issue”? The link went to a page that gave info about how much of the previous fuel is left over in the hose of Single Hose Fuel pumps.

So I flashed from 1.05 93P to 1.05.1 93P two days ago to see how the tip in felt since everyone was talking about it. Have about 100 miles on it and tip in still sucks in stop in go traffic, however just a bit of the harshness is gone so that's a plus. However earlier this morning I was sitting in line at the car wash with the truck in park and noticed it had developed an idle surge that occured every 20-25 seconds. Every time it surged the whole truck would shake.

I switched from 1.05 87 Performance to 1.05.1 87 Performance last night. I have never seen over 20MPG on the way to work in the morning. I did today for some reason. Will see if that continues.

Tip in feels lightly reduced, shifting seems smoother as in less jerkiness. It did hang out around 1100 RPM a lot, but the shift when I ask for more acceleration feels less jerky when it happens. Seems smoother.

idle learning needs to be completed. it will go away on it's own in some time, or you can flash again and let the truck idle untouched for about 5-10 mins.

While in college I worked at a speedshop specializing in GM LT1 and LS1 performance.

Every LT1 and LS1 had to come in and strap down to the Dyno for a few hours to get the car dialed in the way the owner wanted.

Imagine it's not easy to write a plug n play cure all tune that can make every Tacoma owner happy at once, actually, it's impossible to make everyone happy. I'm just glad someone is trying for us because who really wants to go pull Dynos for a couple hours on their off days.

I wish some of you guys would accept that this a pre-programmed tune, not a cure all or custom to your vehicle tune. Buy it & try it, let it evolve until you're ready or sell your stinking truck already.

4.88's and an OVTune should make you happier but maybe not, stop clogging up a good post and PM Mat for special requests please, hate that I have to read 47 messages to find out one new update, thanks and sorry I just added another post to this thread..

This^^^ I did and always do the 10min. idling as Mat suggests and that's it, tip-in
on new 93perf is much different for me then it was on the 1.05 version and by different
    I mean, perfect.

Thanks Mat, I really appreciate the hard work and on-going effort you're putting in to please these
    crazy ass trucks.
