Thats awesome! Yours and Runnin4Tacos are so similar. Both look awesome and if its 105 that means they're both relatively lightweight. No need in my mind to put a ton of extra weight on these trucks.

The price may be related to labor hours needed to build. The more complex a bumper is the more labor hours to make and thus more expensive. I know hefty had a nice front plate bumper but they priced themselves out of the market and the bumper took about 8 hour to make.

This one here is $1200 and looks incomplete, even if powdered it looks unfinished

Good Point. If the item is of high quality and its what you like, buy once, cry once applies.
The Mobtown and Runnin4Tacos both seem pretty complex with the curves/tubes/plates so the cost is understood.
By comparison the SSO Slimline with the high clearance kit will probably come in around $1,100 as well so its also at a similar price point.

Mobtowns looks like it may protect the shock a bit more if you're thrashing hard through the desert, it has that tube that comes down lower and it may just stop something from going between the tire and the A-arm/shock

I see what you're saying. In this photo the Runnin4Tacos looks like it covers a bit more than in the first photo but it doesn't look like as much protection. Would hate for something to go up in there.

    You are all correct.

It is a fine line you have to walk to make sure you make an attractive, strong, cost effective product. Bumpers take a long time to build!

@Mobtown Offroad do you have a picture of your bumper with the low bull bar and just fogs? Just want to compare the two with similar options.

A good bumper takes time to build which is why i think it's appropriate for the cost. Would be extremely interested if you had a matching high clearance rear bumper.

Not as of yet. The one picture I uploaded is the only one we have built so far.

Anyone know if the stock suspension on an OR would be enough for the added ~100lbs from this bumper? Wondering if it might cause stock OR to sagg.

I would think you'd be fine, until you added lights and a winch and a bull bar.... Or if your high speed desert bombing. Then you'll really feel any weight sitting forward of your front axles.

Doesn't the bumper already come with a bull bar? I would imagine that the way it's pictured would require upgraded suspension. Not entirely sure though.

Depending on who's bumper you're ordering, you'll have various layout options for hoops, wings, light mounts etc.

My plan is to keep it as light as possible, hence looking at tube bumpers vs some serious armor plate. Of course, I've also got a Sport, so stiff hitachi shocks atm...

Why don't more companies make a tube bumper to fit an uncut OEM bumper like this one?
