    Wouldnt it make sense to add a 1/2" spacer to the bump stop? If I'm moving the suspension down 1/2", add 1/2" to the bump? Am I thinking about this wrong?

    Yes you’re thinking about it wrong.

    Spacers displace articulation in the front suspension to add lift. It’s not a 1:1 formula.

    So would a 1/4" spacer be more accurate? Or just leave it with no spacer?

    I know!!! I'm paranoid haha, just wanting to make sure I do it right the first time. It will be a 1/2" top plate giving ~.75-1" lift. I want to make sure my bumps will still function properly

    Why not just put the winch set up on an go from there to decide what size of a spacer to get:notsure:
    Another option may just get a hidden receiver setup an put the winch in a cradle to mount only when needed.:ohsnap:

    I contacted wheeler's and they couldn't give me a straight answer on if I would need spacers and which sizes with a 1/2" top plate.

    If you want to do it right the first time than wait to buy a real suspension.

    How is the trd pro fox suspension with a small top plate not a real suspension?

    People on here "stack lift" all the time with 1/4" and 1/2" top plates for lean or when extra weight goes on the front.

    I'm not sure what the difference would be between people with 887s and 5100s coil assembly adding a top plate for lean vs. adding a top plate on the fox assembly?
