Completely agree. There was a time I'd find it offensive to get that with my order but I've moved past that at this point in my life. I'm a recovering catholic

 

What that photo doesn't tell you is the giant desert centipede is so hard to find and is next to impossible to find during the day.

I understand you man, I feel similarly. I grew up with militant fundamentalist christian parents and am still dealing with the consequences of that environment. It has taken me a lot of self-work and help from others to move on


On the other hand, I have met a lot of good people of faith since leaving all of that behind. It really comes down to the case. I ordered parts from Riff Raff diesel and they sent a fridge magnet that had a verse reference on it but no actual verse. I'm cool with that, if someone feels compelled by their faith to have great prices and customer service without forcing their beliefs on me directly they are a much better representative of their faith than the doom and gloom evangelicals

Preach For real though, I could go on forever on this subject. I was raised a strict Catholic in a strict Catholic family and went through all the mandatory crap as a kid. 'Jesus Camp' every summer and everything. The fucking songs still get stuck in my head sometimes lol.

Long story short around the time I turned 18 I started asking questions no one had any logical answers to and I started realizing I was conditioned to believe in something I had no real personal belief in. Took a long time for me to come to terms with that but suffice to say, I believe that that I was born and I believe that one day I'll die. What happens in between is mine.
