Color regrets...

I bought a 15 in magnetic gray because I thought the 3rd gen was ugly. This was back when they were just starting to get info on them out. Then I saw a 3rd gen in quicksand and immediately wished I had waited another year to buy.

Magnetic is a good color and hides dirt well, but it's easily the most popular color around here.

 

what is the offset on those wheels? -38?

 

I regret not being allowed to get Inferno any more. Tacomas in that color look great.

QS is nice. If I was buying today it would be calvary blue. Cement is also nice. I think a safe color that CAN look just as good as the others is white.

 

I’d probably go cement and then cavalry. Voodoo is to much for me

 

I regret not getting calvary blue, cement, or quicksand. I've honestly thought about trying to find someone with a similar milage truck to trade haha.

 

It is such a cool color! I almost got that instead of Quicksand for my 16. The orange reminded me of my 02 z28 Camaro. Miss that car so I thought the Taco would be a good memory of it.

 

Chrysler has to be the worst for offering "exotic" colors. Cool for maybe 10 years or so but then just lame.

 

No regrets and I do love my white 2017, my white 2002, and my white 1995 4runner. I don’t regret getting those three white trucks for several reasons, but I’d really regret doing something like this!

I like how Toyota released special colors because it meant I had bargaining power when negotiating the MGM. No regrets.

 

Nope, no regrets. Cement is my favourite Tacoma colour, but I should say that Quicksand is a very close second.

 

I've never purchased a vehicle based on color, but I absolutely love my Barc red. Also, I get way more compliments from random strangers than when I had a cement one.

 

Probably because cement is much more common. I drive a cement, but I always notice the Barcelona red when I see it, because they are pretty rare to see. My only regret is that cement isn’t that unique.

 

I absolutely hated SWB when I first saw mine. I wanted one of the black or silver ones you see everywhere because I didnt want to stick out like a sore thumb, but my family talked me into it. Needless to say as time went on it grew on me and now, i wouldn't have chosen any other color. On the other hand, I'm still busy kicking myself for no 4x4, but that's for a different story.

Funny you should mention that! About a week before the pics of the army green Tacoma, I bought a Fender limited edition Telecaster in olive green. My wife is a bit agitated at the gear buying spree I’ve been on for the last 5 months.
So I sell it like this...”If I can’t own an army green Taco, at least I can get this.”

Love my Cavalry Blue, but the cement was nice and Silver Sky Metallic looks absolutely amazing in the right light.

 

At the dealership, I almost pulled the trigger on the Cement. Now that I'm looking, I see Cement everywhere here in NorCal. Feel good about going with black.
