255 85 16 for towing?

    Hi all, I'll be doing a cross country trip towing my boat, and I was wondering about switching to these tires. Everyone raves about the 255 for off roading, but would they be okay for towing? Would they being a little thinner be an issue?

    They should be fine for towing. A lot of trucks with tow packages came with Firestone destination 245 70 16 (I think, can't remember my stock tire size).
