What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

So far they are awesome. Haven’t put more than 10 miles on them though. They have a softer road feel than my Blizzak winter tires I switched from. I have a 2” Dobinson’s lift with no rub and no modification to the wheel well or cab mount.

Danny, make sure you get a backseat dog cover to protect the seats from projectile vomited. Also consider moving the seat to passenger side so you do a shoulder glance and see status compared to having to try to do a 180 with ya neck.

Make sure to get recaros down the road they are worth every penny.

 

She is definitely a keeper. Unfortunately I am well past the 30 day exchange policy. In order to ship it back and get a replacement plus the restocking fee I will lose over $500. I have to get my post count up so I can offer someone on here a smoking deal.

 

Got my 5.29 gears installed and also put in the switchpro 9100 and twin ARB for the front locker.

Very happy with the regear on 33s.

Can you give some more driving input on the 5.29's? I have 4.88's and i am not to happy after an 800 mile trip. I am running 34" tires armor front and rear steal bumpers , rear with swingout , front have a winch. 4.88s didnt give the drive ability i thought they would! Still cant hold 5th or 6th on any inclines small or large! I know its really heavy but it should be better and i am running the OVtune aswell.

 

Where did you get the plug thats in you ARB quick connect fitting?

 

I used my wife’s hairdryer to aid in removing the original decals. Isopropyl alcohol to remove any residual adhesive left on the truck then followed the manufacture application instructions to apply the new decals. I do have few small air bubbles but hoping they disappear after a couple days of warmer weather.

Installation instructions:

1. Make Sure Surface of your car is clean. Use the tape to secure the sticker to the desired location

2. Spray decal and surface with water

3. Use scraper to take the water and bubble out

4. Wait For 15 Minutes

5. Tear off The transfer film slowly

6. Use knife to cut between and extra sticker


Note:

1. Use the hair dryer to heat the tape a little

2.Please keep your car non-washed within 48hours to achieve the best adhesiveness.

3. Try to finish the steps one time, do not tear off from one area to another area to avoid bad adhesiveness.

4.If you can’t DIY by yourself, professional installation will be recommended

Very cool. I have the same compressor and am also planning to put that front locker in. I may hit you up for some intel at some point.

 

Rubbing on driver's side at lock, an alignment to add caster should fix that though. Other than that not much.

 

Not much noticable, I can still get up to speed like before. My mpg has been the same, although it's only been a week I can update after a new tank.

 

Had a nasty rattle - thought it was wiring for my kicker speakers, but couldn't be sure without ripping things apart.

Did she order it directly from Diamondback? They seem like a pretty good company. Have you tried reaching out to them to see if they can work with you to exchange it?
