I'm no expert but I believe that is legal requirement.

Lasered or engraved it must be present.

ive heard the stamp must always be with the can or if its an SBR/SBS the stamp must be with the firearm, but i did not know you have to physically have it etched/lasered onto the can/firearm

Yes. There are very specific depth values and size of print that must be used.

As others have said, definitely under gassed. Check your gas block to make sure it is aligned properly. If canted to the side it can block some of the gas port.
Should have no problem locking back on LRF with supers. I used to have that identical setup. Mine would not cycle subs reliably without a can either. Getting a gun to run both unsuppressed is pretty damn difficult, but setting up a gun that will ran supers unsuppressed and subs suppressed is pretty easy. If your gas block is aligned properly, I wonder if you have a mis-sized gas port from the factory?

FBI check didn't go through initially, and you've been delayed. You've been put in a "que", unfortunately the que is about 100,000 people long.
I recently was delayed on my 11th tax stamp, early this year. I submitted my 12th, and it was approved. I called the ATF branch and they used my later approval to get the delayed form approved as well. This obviously isn't the case for you as its your first stamp, just making the point that you can be delayed for no reason, just like state background checks on firearm purchases. Problem is the state usually comes to a conclusion within 90 days, whereas the FBI delay can sometimes take years, or even be indefinite... Sorry I don't have better news for you, but be prepared for this to drag out for a long time.

My only takeaway from this is that I need to submit as many stamps as possible when I move to a free state.

Haha, well not necessarily. If you submit a bunch of stamps for the first time and something in your background is a hangup and you get delayed on all of them... then you're up shit creek!

my problem with this is that i have no number i can contact to see what the hold up is. you can call the ATF/NFA and ask but they dont have an answer when its in the FBI check stage.

Yea, there's nothing you can really do. The only info the ATF has is what the FBI tells them, and all they tell them is that you're delayed. I was in the same boat for months, and tried to call anyone I could. Unfortunately they don't make it easy, or even really possible for you to do anything about it. Broken system.

The ATF never said anything about being delayed just that I’m still under investigation. I’ve also heard it could take longer when holding a security clearance

Circling back to this. The two are mutually exclusive. I'm in the middle of my T5R as well, and it didn't interfere. I'm an FSO. Had my interview for this re-investigation while in the middle of my wait for my stamp.

Weird. I'd be pretty surprised if you're at 16 months and not under "delayed" status... that's longer than I've ever heard.

M16 or AR15 BC? I use AR15 BCs exclusively in my 300blk rifles. 200g is on the light side for factory subs. Most factory subs are iffy to begin with in short barrels. I think the factories design the loads for 16" (so they don't go super). Put CLP or any lube all over the BCG. New rifles need a break in period. I wouldnt start hacking stuff or changing springs until you've got a lot of rounds through it. Not sure what "standard weight buffer" is. H, H2, orH3. I use H2 and carbine regular springs in my 300blk rifles.

    Gas block is aligned properly

    Standard weight is 3oz

Honestly dont know the difference between an am15 and ar15 bcg but it's the Aero Precision nickel boron one...everything was heavily lubed

I'm going to get some other ammo and start there and remove a weight from the buffer as well until I can rehab my fun money account to buy a suppressor
