As soon as I can. Which will also mean I will have a set of OME 885s for sale very soon! I'll probably have to do something different in the back as I am sitting just about level front to back right now. :spending:

Depending on how you leafpacks look you could do a progressive aal or Dakars.

I have an aal in the OEM pack right now to get me level. It squeaks like crazy! I guess I need to start looking into other options.

:anonymous:Didn’t know since new build thread isn’t up to date

I have the HD dakars they are stiff without a higher end shock or weighted down. I’d do the medium duty if that applies to you.

HAHA! I am working on it. That's why I was hesitant to start the build thread but at some point you just have to take the plunge...

I am debating the HD or Medium. I am leaning toward the HD. If I understand correctly they can be adjusted per your need. Like I could take out some to soften it then when I may be pulling a heavy trailer or camper I could reinsert the removed leaf(s) to give it additional support. ???

I mean you could do that an it’s a pia every time you wanted to. My personal experience with them is the HDs an ome rear shocks was Uber stiff slapped some king rears on its butta smooth difference between the 2 shocks.
I’d save some pennies an get high dollar shocks for the rear an just be done with it.

For about a month I rode around with ome 886 up front an the king rears it was a darn good ride.

Thanks for the first hand experience. I wonder how bad the HDs would be with my 5100s in the rear? I don't mind the work to change out leafs. I have a buddy who has a shop w/a lift that I can use any time I want!

I guess I will keep my eye out for a good deal on rear leafs now!

No idea never rode or read anyone’s experience with that particular setup. However I’ve seen rigs with the billy b-110s it’s a longer shock for more flex an they were happy with it.
