If you have a grinder or file just sharpen the blade

Mulching it to feed the grass. Have a lot of dead patches from neighbor's leaves.

It was sharpened with a grinder but it was all rusted out so the blade's jagged like a steak knife. Just gonna pull the blade off the other.

Mulching is only good for the lawn if the clippings are small enough to fall down into the lawn. Typically, if you can see clipping left behind on top, it isn't getting cut fine enough and will actually hinder growth. Most of the time to mulch efficiently you will need to mow about every 3 days. I did this when we first moved into our house. Then we had kids...I now bag the grass....

Well, then I'm raking it all over the area of no grass so the seeds can grow. (Hopefully).

Hit the back yard some more before work. Probably about 3 hours left to finish it. Then it's supposed to rain till the end of the month... :bananadead:

I know the feeling. We are looking at rain and violent thunder storms for the next week or so!

I'm about ready to just pave the whole back yard or hire someone to mow it!

Hire someone. Dont pave it. It wont add curb appeal & will kill the value.

Ps. Install the french doors already slacker

    I'll get there eventually! LOL
The struggle bus is in full effect. Have to pay a $1600 ER bill, then the wife's gotta get an EKG, get put on a heart monitor for a while, then possible pace maker, and she might also have to get a feeding tube. So money is tight Homie. That back door is on low priority atm.
