It was pretty easy to install, I ended up running the extra switch to my camera. Thanks again for an awesome product. Now I need red map lights to match my rear!!!lol

How'd you connect it to your camera (assume a front one)? I tried that and ended up blowing a fuse (my fault).

I use a HAI harness from a member on here. Guy makes a harness for an anytime rear camera and an add on for the front camera.

How'd you connect the green/black wires to the harness? I have a similar one. Green to 12v, black to ground?

Not without taking apart the dash. I have green and black wires for my secondary switch for the stage 2. Thinking about it as I type it, what I really need is to send 12v to a different green wire I have on my harness.

So I was installing my stage 2 and both sides click like they should with the cover off, but as soon as the cover comes close to snapping back on the left button stops clicking. Anyone else experience this? Suggestions? @MESO

It’s going to require a little finesse and fitment. Make sure you don’t press the button down all the way into the shift knob as it needs room to press in and activate. You also might have to sand the edges of the stealth switch a tiny bit. There is tollerance difference in every knob, so you will just have to carefully examine where it’s making contact.

Finally got around to installing my Stage 2 DYI kit and installing it.
    First off, I love it.
Second, anyone else have a possible unhealthy obsession just to click it all the time?

Ok, so I had to sand some of the red paint off the area where the side of the switch contacts the case. Doesn't show because it's covered anyway. Installed by removing the two top dash panels and lifting the center tray up. I was then able to feed the new wire down to the center tray and up through the boot of the shift knob. Super easy install. Thanks again @MESO for another sweet product!673772B7-BE96-4A68-9081-A7EE8F084E8B.jpg29435A9F-B3B7-452A-9900-BCBC741045FE.jpg

Can anyone verify for me what needs to be removed to connect everything? Is it all pieces circled?

Where the shift knob is, you take up the piece that the e-brake sticks out of. I found it easiest to pull up at the cupholder.

I didn’t know that part needed up. Was just thinking the trim around the shifter would. So thanks.

Post 217 in this thread has a video of Stew opening the front to get the ECT switch out. There are some other images around there as well with the bottom piece removed.
