Took it on it’s first road trip up to Nebraska yesterday. Went to the Omaha Zoo and saw all the flooding still. It’s crazy insane. Anyway, it was a buggy mess so I cleaned it today.

New SEMA TRD wheels with General Grabber ATX 265/70/17 put on last week. This week had Low range off-road 3/2 level kit installed.

Sadly went to pick up my truck today and the mechanic who did the work busted the CV boot. Glad I crawled under to check the work. So it had to stay and boot isn’t an in stock item at any of 3 local Toyota dealerships and has to be ordered, so I’ll get it back early next week.

Only grabbed this one pic on the way out. It’s not great because it’s sitting on an incline.

Good news is that the shop owner is a family friend and gave me his new Raptor (still has drive out tags) to drive until they get mine finished.

    Thanks.
Took them off the day I brought it home. So it was quick and easy. “Sawing” motion with dental floss behind the emblem and the remaining adhesive just pulled right up.

I like the steps! Those were the ones I wanted after buying the Taco last year, but Amazon suddenly went out of stock, so I settled for the running board style...

I've thought about doing exactly that! Don't know what thread the stem is. I'm a knife guy, I'de love to carve my own and stain it. Just don't know what insert to match to the threads. Any insight?

Just heard from the dealership. The issue turned out to be rodent intrusion which of course is not covered by warranty! :annoyed: Fortunately my comprehensive insurance does. $1K deductible but the dealership said it was going to be $1300 just to remove the intake and inspect the harness for the knock sensor. The adjuster will be there to take photos while it’s apart. The claims rep told me it’s more common than most people realize! :cookiemonster: Gonna start researching prevention methods!

Todays Mod. USR Blacked out mirror turn signals. I don't plan to hook up the DRL's. Not really into that. I just wanted the blinkers.
Not sure if this mod is worth $100? But eh? Why not?

It is worth the $100 mod just to get rid of the only chrome I had on the outside of my truck. Five minutes for each side for the turn signal mod.

I did spend about another four hours a couple of weeks later to do the DRLs. It was worth it to me.

Might do DRL's some day but for now I was just interested in getting rid of the chrome. At least with these USR lights we have the option.
I went with USR over MESO because the tint on the lens is a bit darker.

I'm running out of things to do to my truck?
    LMAO!
