I’m simply saying that with young players mental toughness can be taught with experience. That’s a big part of what the Leafs were missing in the playoffs this year, that last push when the opposition elevates their game. Personnel changes can help but with a young core blowing things up doesn’t make sense. The Leafs can wait at least another year before making major changes. Who knows though, maybe Marner will force their hand.

I have zero interest in the Leafs playing a grittier slow style of hockey. The last couple of cup winners did just fine without adding slow big bodies.

 

Carolina's done. Glad we didn't have to watch their post game 'surge' shenanigans at all.

Isles sweep Pens > Hurricanes sweep Isles > Bruins sweep Hurricanes... maybe Sharks sweep Boston?

That would be a weird pattern but something interesting none the less. Boston is going to be well rested. The only full series they’ve had was their first against TO.

I’m not sure what’s actually getting to you at this point. You came in here with a take, that we are all crybabies for having the opinion that the officiating in the playoffs his year has been brutal, and some people disagreed with you. Nothing was said personally about you other than that your team has been on the positive end of some of it recently. We all know Boston isn’t cheating. It’s just shitty officiating all around and the advantage of disadvantage has been passed around a lot this year.

Brad Marchand, what did Boston sign him for $5million a year, a bargain compared to say Willie Neelander. In order to beat Boston you have to shutdown 1 line and score on Rask. Theres a reason why team Canada play Marchand, Bergereon and Crosby together at the world cup of hockey. Why does iihf have their championship during the playoffs, why not in august?
