You go stage 1 or 2 for the Total Tail Light kit? I installed stage 1 and then traded it plus cash it for stage 2's in 19 tails.

 

I scored a stage 1 kit... I wanted stage 2 but I feel this will work.

 

I liked the stage 1, though they were only on the truck for a week before I upgraded to the stage 2. Nice simple upgrade and brighter than stock. My depo pros were letting dust inside on the driver side so I wanted to replace them and saw someone selling them the stage 2 in the 19 tail lights that dont have the chrome of the earlier years. I talked the guy into taking my stage 1's and then covered the difference with cash. I would have been happy with the stage 1 had my depo tails not been crap and let dust in.

 

That sucks about the dust but cool to hear stage 1 would be good. I'll probably install the kit tomorrow

 

DO IT! It takes no time to install, 4 bolts and simple plug in of new bulbs/harness. Nice thing about stage 1's is its really easy to swap to the stock bulbs if by some chance a bulb went bad. I had to hit meso up today about replacing my ultimate maps because 1 has a line of LED's flickering but hes taking care of me like he does all his customers.

 

I will for sure do that install tomorrow.

I have the maps as well but need to swap e overhead console out first. I broke mine installing my locker buttons lol

 

Do you have the replacement console already? My maps are likely from the first batch of ultimate maps, I cant remember but I found my receipt today from feb of 2018. I had heard he found an issue with the LED boards but never had a problem until recently. He also got the problem corrected so yours should be good. I want to pick up an ultimate dome in white and see if i like it better then the red I have installed now.

 

Yeah I snagged one on eBay a while.back

I've got the ultimate dome and it's mega bright. Like brighter than the sun! Lol
