Mine is chopped shorter and I have 295/75r16s stuffed up there and the heat doesn’t seem to be a problem at all. Exhaust is several inches from the tire

If you don't mind me asking, around what does it cost to have those fluid changes done?
    • Front diff fluid
    • Rear diff fluid
    • Transmission (drain fill drive 10 miles repeat 3x)
    • Transfer case fluid

If you go to a dealer they will charge you over $400 to do the front/rear dif and transfer case.

Agreed, I bought my truck at 125k and have no idea what was previously done and when.

Good to know, I may just do this with a friend, especially to keep costs down.

Solo job may take you about 2-3 hrs (at least for me & I'm a novice). Also, might as well drop the tranny pan & change tranny filter too since you're already under there.

Re-spooled my winch and added a protective winch bag. It was only a few bucks and nice to have some protection from the elements: https://amzn.to/2QaOMIB
