Helping a buddy with his sailboat tomorrow, almost ready to go in the water. Boat work in the spring = invites all summer.

My truck's at the dealer looking at the brake light TSB. I don't believe I have a bad leak, but I have seen evidence of water on the back of the passenger side rear seat back. I also have a smell I can't place when the warmer weather hits. I know it's not related to the windshield leak I had last year as I've torn that truck apart more times than I care to admit searching for water post-replacement to guarantee I have no leak. I know it's not in the carpet, so I'm wondering if there's something funky in the headliner.

I just cleaned out the wife's Jeep. It was getting a little crusty. I gotta rip apart the Vette's pop-up assembly yet again (grr) and then I don't know what the rest of the weekend will bring.

what's a cheap DIY solution to paint dings? I've got some on the windshield support column. My truck is Pyrite Mica so the silver base metal doesn't stand out so I only noticed them when I was Rainx ing my windshield...So I did a walk around and fount about 8 little tick tack size spots that I should treat before they rust...
    SO..what's my easy option?
I'm not opposed to paint from Amazon or something but I need to know what the pre-treat process is?

Google Kevin Tetz paint chip repair. Color is to hide the base and then fill with clear. Then you use a razor blade to shave the excess. Color sand, compound, wax. It'll disappear.

This isn’t the actual unit, just a stock photo from the interwebz. Just put the deposit down, still working out the details of when I can get it. It’s new, but a 2018 leftover so we were able to negotiate what I think is a pretty good deal on it.

Back when I did paint repair, mix up the color, add hardener, small squeegee over the chip, let it set up, wet a shop towel with paint thinner, wrap around a sanding block, and lightly go over the spot to get the paint off from around the chip and leaves the paint in the chip (low spot)

Oil change tomorrow... driveshaft lube. 4 mile run. Lawn mowing, mulch spreading... Family birthday party for a four-year-old in the evening ... Sox game Sunday Chris sale pitching. And starting it off with a Sarnac Kölsch

Or I'll fart around for several hours tomorrow and then say what the heck I got nothing done

Nice..... Seems like it would work... But, I would mess it up... Lol

Still need to find someone to shoot my tank and fairing without trying to charge the same as a full car...
