Glad to see you got some new rubber to mount.
Curious... are you still DOD, or a civilian working for DOD? Can't you order US Spec tires through AAFES auto garage? Hell, you may have some issues other than tires and you will need a parts source for the Taco.
Of course Amazon can probably meet those other needs. Do you have to do German inspection, or just DOD inspection criteria under SOFA? Do you run US SOFA plates, or German?

I'm still DOD stationed out here. They were only able to order two types of tires for my size so I went with Amazon.de. I still have to get TÜVs but since it is a new truck I wont need one for three years. They are German plate but not graf, its some town in northern Germany for some reason. I haven't had any real problems ordering and everything usually come with in two weeks. The only thing I haven't been able to order is bed covers cause of the size of the box.

Ach, so. A lot has changed since I left Germany. We still had USA plates (known as terrorist bomb targets LOL). Cool that Amazon can cover most of your needs.
Hopefully you are getting some good jumps at Graf, I envied the guys from Vicenza I used to see jumping in.

It has its positives and negatives. I do feel very fortunate to be able to do this but working on my truck with maintenance and mods would be much easier in the states.

Agreed, but when I was there for a week a few years ago, I only saw like 2 trucks the entire time. Come to think of it, those might have even been in CZ.
