Yep. I basically use a similar approach for sound deadening in all of my vehicles.

Potentially, but no more than carpet. If you sub you are ripping the carpet out anyway. This i can take the side trim off and just let it vent underneath, but either way there it is way more resistent to mold. I sometimes even hose down the floor when I clean it.

 Here's a before of the passenger side; driver is just a mirror image.

And here's how much I cut/folded - you can see the top where I ground off the extra seam, and then the bottom (below the notch) I folded over (toward the inside/frame).

The evap and expansion valve is there. You also have the blower in there that can potentially rattle if some shit gets inside it.

I need to get one of those. Was really handy when working on my one motorcycles motor.

There are 2 bands that wrap behind the stock mirror. But yes, they interefere. I can't swing down the visors all the way to touch the windshield. But i'm a short guy so if i need them, they usually don't work anyway lol

I switched from Ameriprise to Liberty Mutual. Both have great customer service and followup but LM beat out Ameriprise.

I just did their quick quote deal, actually very competitive with my current policy. Liberty Mutual might bey next one after I move and switch my renter's insurance over.

Everything is in there, just haven’t put it together. Don’t want to waste time putting it back together if it’s just getting parted out.

It can never be brought back to California unless you pay the ungodly backtaxes the state wants. Otherwise you can get a title for it in the other 49 states with the Vermont paperwork relatively easily.

Then one day his kid drives it to CA to come visit his dad, gets pulled over and arrested on a warrant for massive fees in unpaid vehicle fines haha.

Just as long as you don’t try to register it here you’ll be fine, haha. I had my officer friend run the VIN, not stolen and not tagged on any police databases. It’s the same if you leave any car in the state with an expired registration after an extended period of time, the state considers it abandoned.

these reps are unreal, trying to drill down on their business practice i get the run around, no straight and concise answers
I tell them i pay YOU to protect my property, NOT to enrich your company (within reason)

Surprised. Most PD who have access to the database know now its not worth risking your career (not too mention its a crime) to run plates and / or people unless its directly connected with an investigation. No joke. 20 years ago, different story. Today - not worth the risk.

He couldn’t tell me much, I asked for a lot more information that he gave me and cited when you just said. He could really only tell me if it was stolen or not and if it was on any police database. No to either one.
