Well I'll post some pics. It was nice to meet everybody. There were all 3 gens in attendance.

Every did really well. We went to coves 1 and 2 . And then taped out to to time and heat. Apparently a lot of other residents of the valley had a similar plan, space was definitely a premium for parking.
It was definitely fun bombing through the washes and climbing up and down the hills. Its amazing what these trucks can do in stock form.

definitely a good time. The one thing I learned is crawl control takes things to a new level. @Bluetacomagirl93 stock taco on street tires made it look easy with all the gadgets and gizmos.

We even meet another taco out there.

Looks like I need to start planning the next trip.

I'd go if it's on my off Sunday or wed

Its pretty back there. I think it's also called Roger's trough. There's some Indian ruins at one of the hiking trails . Like 5miles in from the trail head.

Trailhead is Rogers Trough trail is Rogers Canyon About 9.5 round trip little over a 1k climb coming out hot at hell right now

Montana mountain is a really pretty loop and a lot of fun. Good mix of higher speed cruising and semi technical once you pass Rogers Trough turnoff. Pro tip unless you've got armor or lifted follow the main road fs 650/ happy camp rd out to the 60. I cut through the Hewitt canyon ohv like one of the online offroad GPS routes showed. My front skid took a beating. So much so I ordered an RCI skid to replace it. I'm pretty much stock except +1 inch tires over stock. Did use 4wd in a couple places on the upper section. 2wd can probably make it with some skinny pedal and not being afraid to bash a skid plate

I'd like to but Montana mountain that entire area is just so dang far for me. It seriously took me just as much time to get to Rogers Trough th as it did to get to southern AZ near sonoita and I was flying up that road. Mt Ord is another one I'd really like to do

I'd love to give it another go.
    I'm off Sunday and Monday.
