I work in goleta can bring a 120v one of these days if you have everything prepped. Should be fast can do it on a lunch break. Or if you have 240v at your place i can bring a bigger one. I think our frames are smaller than 1/8 should be a non issue

You can install the gussets with 120. I've done several that way. Just mind the bead so it doesn't interfere with the cam bolts one everything its back together.

Thank you very much for the offer!
Unfortunately, I can’t do any of the work at my place as I was forced to move into a condo about a year ago. I’m looking for a spot I can take the truck to and get it all done there. I’m no mechanic but, I don’t let that stop me from getting in there and doing what’s needed. It’s just finding a place I can work on it that’s proven to be the most difficult lately. I wish I still had a living situation that allowed me to do work out of my own garage.

Anybody know a decent dirt trail near Goleta or anywhere near the sort?

You can always stop by my pad and weld it yourself! :)

West Camino is your best bet.

Gotcha. Been there and it was fun. I'm just looking for a more "pre-runner" dirt trail.

On the other hand, I feel like I've seen you around maybe once or twice while I was on Calle Real and you waved at me once. I might be wrong lol..

    Thank you for offering Chris!
I may take you up on that if I can’t find someone who’s more experienced to weld it for me. It’s been quite some time since I’ve used a MIG Welder or attempted to weld anything for that matter. I’m afraid I won’t lay a nice bead and botch it up. I used to Arc Weld well when I was in high school but, that was a Long time ago haha

We still have to go surfing...

I got scrap you can practice on. Spend 30 minutes refreshing your skills, and you'll be good to go. Or.........I can just do it. Haha.

Literally any time you want to sarf, I'm in! I'm in the water about 2-3 times a weeks these days now that I have a paddle board. If it's flat I paddle, if it's ride-able I'm scratching! Just hit me up!

Super cool of you to offer. I think since Chris offered, I’ll go to his place as it’s not far from me but I certainly appreciate it.

Right on! I try to wave at everyone in town but never get a response. Throw up some deuces next time! :)

Kinda far for you but I found a place in Oxnard (I think) that is actually cheaper than all the places I've been to in LA. Can't recall the name right now but I just stumbled on it by Google'n "steel for sale"

Cool thanks I'll check that out we have a trailer so not a big deal if the price is right. Gonna get some roll cages done.
