I tried to start a message with you but have not gotten a response...I'd really like to grab a set of these when you have something available.

I figure actually showing in interest in a product is better than being a mute? ‍♀️

If you’re gonna go BHLM, I’d recommend going full bore RX350 retro at the same time. I don’t have mine yet, but it’s likely the best safety upgrade you can get for non-trail stuff.. short of sliders that double for shopping carts :)

I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely familiar with the RX350 retro. What does that consist of and/or look like? :)

Rx350 retrofit changes the actual projectors in your headlights to a better performing set that are designed to run HID bulbs. It’s nothing that looks different in the lights, but it just performs a hell of a lot better than stock lights.

What he said. You’re running a proper projector (piece that reflects the light inside your headlight) for HIDs.

You can buy modified HID bulbs to fit your current projectors, but the OEM lamps are design to reflect halogen light. They’ll give better cutoffs than most halogen lamps since they use projectors as well, but it’s one of those things of just because it works doesn’t mean it’s good. The cars you see that have blinding lights on the road with low beams are running these 99% of the time.

RX350s are OEM Toyota projectors from a Lexus that are design for HIDs. He swaps your old projectors out for these and bingo bango, you’ve got proper HIDs and can see at night without blinding people across state lines.

This was exactly me. I had some Xenondepot HID 5500 in my stock headlights. Light was bright and much cleaner than stock but it was way too spread out. Ended up doing the retrofit with novtec4me and it makes a world of difference. The light is more concentrated and focus and the cutoff line is extremely sharp. This means the headlight will actually point the high discharge of light in the key heat areas you want it to be.

OK, so... I wish I could afford the RX retrofit, unfortunately I don't see that option in near future. I do hope I can scrape some $ for the bhlm though.

I'm usind the 4300k Hylux kit (ball bulbs) for almost 2 years Hyluxtek HID kit with CNLight ball bulbs. It is great (next best thing but not as good as RX)! It has an awesome cut off, and is a good upgrade over stock lights, except for squirrel spotters, which send some (now unwanted) light above the cut off line.
I'm wondering if there is a way to unbend something in stock projector to emiminate that effect @no vtec 4me

For anyone concerned about longevity/durability. Here’s my personal set; they’ve been installed for a little over a year now and still look/function as well as the day I assembled them.
