Just posting up my RRW rock slider experience.
Ordered DEC 13, received them MAY 7.
bellow pictures show the rrw logo welded on wrong on the passenger side and the driver side cab clearance issue.

rock slider driver.jpg rock slider passanger.jpg

have emailed rrw and sent pics.

Still sits pretty damn close to the pinch weld. :itllbuffout:

Glad this worked for you but unfortunately after remounting and following mounting / tightening order instructions provided by Ray I had no change.

Was able able to crank down driver side in my own order and got about 3mm of space at the front but still bangs pinch welds pretty significantly. Been in contact with Ray and hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Passenger side no issues but after seeing pictures of others im wondering... I probably have a little over 1/2 of space, which is fine, but seems way less than the other posts I’m seeing.

On a side note, do any of you get a pop / creak when stepping on these?

I know these are sliders but I feel like if they can support the weight of the truck I should feel comfortable standing on them with my whole 200lbs.

They feel sturdy but on either side when stepping in front or back I get a pretty hideous noise. I only have the center factory bolt on the bottom at the moment. Really really don’t want to drill the other two spots on each slider because I live in the rust belt and concerns how that would impact factory warranty. Depending on feedback I would consider but not until this driver side issue is resolved.

New development I noticed as of today, rusting welds with holes in them (not including the welds which I couldn't get eyes on). These have been on my truck for less than 2 weeks, with very mild weather. This is already more rust than I had on my plain old powder-coated smittybilt side steps on my Sierra, which saw over 6 years of heavy snow and salt.

I have had minimal responses regarding the previous issues, and have not heard back yet regarding plans to remedy the fit issues with the driver side.

At this point, having the issue with the fit, body damage, and rusting welds with holes after such a short period of time, I will be seeking to return these and receive a refund. I sincerely, truly, hoped this product would work out, especially after holding out for over 6 months. @RayRRW please respond to me DM or email as soon as possible. Thank you.

Has anyone else had luck with getting a refund after having received the product? I appreciate any feedback / guidance.

I didnt have any problems with contact in the body but had rust after 2 days light rain. Only had the sliders on for a week. Only received 1 email in response and was not any help.

The Fyre Festival of rock sliders. With all these issues, it is hard to imagine RRW being profitable with this project.
