Well my welds aren’t pretty, but they work.

 

Its a trick my collision repair teacher taught me when I was beginning to learn to weld in his class.

 

Should help with that one tiny tiny pinhole I didn't bother sealing either.

 

They make metal filler that probably will handle the heat cycles better

 

I'm too lazy to go get some of that, Bondo will be fine haha

 

In that scenario, yeah the metal filled bondo will work best.
