    Just got my front window tint. They had a new brand i hadn't heard of but it was supposed to be a competitor to the Crystaline series from 3M in regards to blocking heat. They are called DUB IR. Some sort of IR technology to block heat. Anyways i'm very happy with how they turned out. This is their 35%. Will eventually go back and get the rears and the windshield done in 70% for complete coverage.

    Just wet sanded with 320 and hit with light grey rattle can. No “purpose” other than looks. I can always switch it back to black for $5 and 30 min time.

    Indeed, they don't look so bad now. Figured since I can't take em off, just gotta make em make sense, and the offset on the Ray10s are perfect! I'm still debating on removing all the chrome screws and either painting or replacing them with black (on the fenders, not the wheels).

    I hear ya. Just obvious that the “purpose” is that you wanted to paint it gray vs. leaving it black. I vinyled my stock Off Road wheels black to see if I liked it. Left it for a couple months and didn’t like the look so went with Matte Gray SEMA wheels. Much cheaper than spend several hundred dollars and then not liking the look.
