Well they actually match the wheels.
I would get a set of SpiderTrax and give her a more agressive stance!
I wonder how this would look on a sport hood?

New little brother for the Grey Ghost....the missus' RAV4 arrived today.
    Yay.
That means that the Grey Ghost is no longer relegated to Uber duty.
Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, and since my very survival - and more importantly, my peace and quiet - is dependant upon her being happy, I was overcome with joy at the opportunity to take her wherever her little heart desired.
Even to Jazz-R-Size at the Community Centre.
Where 'Size' appeared to be the prevailing concept, with people (women, men, and gender-non-determined-non-binary) testing the limits of the tensile strength of spandex. There are some things that one can simply not un-see, and these will haunt me to my deathbed.
Or maybe it is just the whole Uber thing. Or me. Probably. For most of the past forty years, most who rode in my car did so unwillingly, handcuffed and encapsulated in a cage, alternatively or concurrently yelling/spitting/screaming/bleeding/swearing/vomiting/licking-the-glass. This may have have coloured my preconceptions as to what it meant to be simply transporting somebody, and perhaps the boundaries I articulated were slightly outside the norm.
I'm just glad the RAV4 arrived when it did. Probably better for everyone.

Made and mounted a “solar” road shower! Cost me about $65 in parts compared to $300+ for the brand name aluminum one from AU. Lots of plans and videos out there for this. Still needs a few coats of black paint for extra heat absorption.

Bora spacers on. They are machined very tight and just slip onto the hubs. I went ahead and also got the 106 to 110mm spacers to my aftermarket wheels too (the polished pieces). Oh man, something satisfying about mounting the wheels on and they just slide into place without fighting the lug nuts....

    IMG_20190517_160243_048.jpg

    IMG_20190517_160243_049.jpg

Also, remember that the 0.75" are short so the factory studs protrude past the spacer, so your wheels need pockets between the holes.

There is a grommet under the carpet and behind the driver seat. You can see it when you look under the truck. I'll try to get a picture later.
