I will have to try FOB when I get it. I'm 5650 lb dry weight, so I'm not like, the fat kid in the gym class, but you wouldn't find me at the top of a rope climb.

Now I'm curious about the ADM. I'm a sucker for clutch feel, and between the mush, and the catch point being 8 miles from the floor, I'm looking for any kind of love.

Give the ADM a shot. It is about as cheap as a mod gets and is reversible. Of course, no one that did it has reversed it as far as I know.

Anyone notice a pretty decent loss in mpg on 87 base? I’m presently driving across about as flat of a state there is (Kansas), noticing my tank avg is 18.3, prior to OVT I’d be 21-22 if pure highway like this. I did fill up with 91 just for shits, ran it down to the “please refuel” warning, but I’m literally watching the fuel gauge fall. Interesting. Pic for reference. Don’t worry, I have my helmet on.

I always keep the ebrake on in reverse to stay below 40 mph.

2wd low range mod. Search my threads, I'm putting together a plug and play kit.

OVT and the ADM make reverse a lot better. Not as good as 2Lo will be. Livable would be the right term for me.

Reading up more on 2lo I'd be a little hesitant to put it into play. Seems a bit too much dicking with the 4wd system reliability in my situation.

Promising to hear that I may be able to work with the other two.

It's really not that bad. All it does is trick the ecu into thinking the front axle disconnect and t-case have shifted already. With the kit you wont have to cut and splice anything. Also it is 100% reversible.

Interesting. I have not read of any issues with it since @BigWhiteTRD developed it?

Were you possibly looking at 2nd Gen posts, because their system is significantly different.

There was some early discusson from him around its impact during failure on 4wd usability. Is that not an issue now for some reason?

I need 4wd almost daily and wouldn't want to compromise its robustness.

Default condition is (relay off) is normal operation. Even if there was an issue with the relay, it only takes a Phillips screwdriver and I think a 10mm socket to get to the ecu.

If you want to discuss let's take it over to one of the other threads and out of the OVTune thread.
