Oil and filter change, drive shaft lubed, empty and re-fill power steering reservoir, add a little coolant - generally enjoy the sun, while saving a buck or two.
Last oil change in the dead of winter was a quick lube, they had to put that filter on with a wrench so there was also enjoying knowing that it was done by the book this time.

It's a Rexing V1. They also have an option with a rear camera for $50 more, but I didn't do that one.

Yep, it’s about 55k miles on her, pads are ready for a swap, and goin bigger on the tires soon. Figure needing to stop the extra roll is important.
I did see that post about never getting drilled rotors, but for the price it was hard to pass up and ppls reviews on these aren’t bad

Got a dent in rear passenger quarter on my '05 pulled out. Can't tell it was even there. Was at the car wash vacuuming my truck out, minding my own business, dude next to me doing same. Dude comes over and asks about my dent. I noticed his truck was some auto body shop truck. Anyways, says he could fix it for me on the spot for $199.00. I took a pass and asked for his card. He was up front and said he didn't want his boss to know, just looking for some side $$. Got him down to $100.00. Feel good about that, I've had it looked at before and most shops around here are $225.00/$250.00 range. Got my dent fixed, dude gets some extra skrillage in his pocket, we all win!

Total cost was about $200 for the whole shooting match.

Fluids only without oil change was around $90.

Figured out where to run the harness (for the radio) over to the fuse block so it won't rub on any sharp metal edges.
I also had to make sure it wouldn't interfere with putting the radio back in place. Still more work to do. Still have to tape it once I finish routing.

Also I need to make sure I can pull the dash out once the harness is installed for good.

I finally finished fabricating and welding a pair of rock sliders - minus capping the ends...
I used 1 5/8" o.d. sch 40 railing pipe. Mounting plates are 1/4" all welds were nice and hot at 19.8v.
For paint im planning on Zinc clad-4 base coat and acrolon 218 w/ uv resiatance for top coat.

I had this idea in 2017 when i started welding school and finally got around to doing it.

    What do you think?

Doing the brake install right now.
Do i need to include these shims from the previous pads? 2C2BE144-2F4B-41F6-AEEC-327051C0CCEC.jpg

New pads have a shim attached, E8C82033-07F6-4424-8CDC-7BBF1C0B0A3D.jpg just wondering if I’m good to leave these old ones out or if they fill the little gap. Thanks!
