    Think I solved my stall issue that the new airbox caused. Installed a RKX hybrid valve, 75% recirculating 25% to atmosphere. I don't like the atmosphere vent facing up, just begging to catch dirt but I don't see a good way to avoid it.

    This could be a solution for those who want the PSSSSHHHHH sound but not the stalling problem.

    We could implement the aem/haltech coils however the gauge of the wire will need to be increased plus add more grounds. The r35 is a good kit that could be bolt in for the 1gr, in not we can make stocks that are the correct height. I do plan on using r35 coils on my gtr but well need to adjust for the dwell settings for each coil to get the max benefit.

    I'm getting quotes now for the brackets. Here's one for the 2TR.


    The kit will include brackets, bolts, stalks and harnesses; I'll give part numbers for people to source the coils themselves.

    The 1GR may get away without brackets if the COP bolt hole is drilled out a little to one side, I haven't checked if the connector clears. If it doesn't then will need a one piece bracket, like seen with most COP conversion kits.

    Taking others for the 2TR-FE R35 COP fit kit (brackets, stalks, harnesses and bolts)

    This will be the cheapest price to get this as you'll have at least one other person (me) to get bulk pricing discount. If I get interest I'll wait two weeks, otherwise the order will likely go in end of this week. I'll need 50% deposit and the other 50% in 2 weeks, non-refundable. I would like to get four additional, the pricing looks like this:

    +4 $300

    This will be available in the future, a single run will make the price $500.

    The coils are not included, here is info I have to procure yourself:
    Nissan 22448JF00B
    According to forums, the Titan 5.6L (vk56) uses the same coil but a different part number due to different stalk- it's a little cheaper and easy to get used: 22448ZE00C

    I would consider replacing the ignition coil condenser while you're at it. It's basically a capacitor to filter noise from the coils. When these go bad your coils will overwork and burn themselves out.

    Undestandable I know you got a lot going on, still stinks though.

    I just compared these prices to what RB32 and RB26 swap bracket/harness go for, they're $400 and $945 + coils :eek:

    Danville Performance in Danville Indiana has a nice dyno, they do mostly Duramax trucks but I'm sure you could rent the dyno. They have always treated me well.

    Sooooo this is more of a pain than I thought it was going to be buuuuuut I found something interesting. In the area where I located the noise with a stethoscope I found one of the lash adjusters has smaller hole than the rest of the ones I was able to pull so far.

    The smaller hole is 72G2C
    And the other 2 are 72G2A

    I'm assuming factory. I've heard of different generations because older ones had smaller holes allow for clogging. It's just odd it's mixed like that was.
