I have created an option on Etsy that will allow you to "add your personalization" for center cap inlays before adding the item to your cart.

If using the wet method, I highly recommend checking your decals a few hours after application to make sure they fully adhered to the wheel!

The great thing about the wet method is that the water creates a barrier between the decal and your wheel. This helps with repositioning the decal since you can gently remove a wet decal or 'slide' it on your wheel. At the same time, this barrier will be present until the decal is fully dry. Make sure to double check your wheel after a few hours to ensure that no corners or edges lifted during the drying process.

Yes, these are the vinyl wheel decals.

I have had the wheel decals on since the summer of 2017 without an issue. They also last through water and snow.

@crazyfingers Durability should not be a problem if the decals are correctly applied. :)

We use a 3000 psi gas power washer and a nylon brush to clean wheels. We do not typically use car washes, but when we do its almost always touchless.

With that said, I've had people tell me they went through car washes without a problem, one right after applying the decals. As long as your decals are smoothed down (with no lifted edges) I don't see it being a problem. I recommend to always keep the extra decals around for situations that may arise. I've never had one fall off, but I always double check that my decals are fully adhered after application.

I also recommend washing your truck before application. This way you can wait a few days to make sure everything is secure before washing again. This is just a precaution I take on everything I put vinyl on.

So I added one drop of baby soap to a 32 oz bottle, and these decals are fairly slippery, I can't get the edges to lay flat. Do I just need to wait for some water to dry?

Also what's the trick for lining them up. I have a couple wings that refuse to touch.

I'm almost certain that your decals are too wet for all of the areas to completely adhere. Wait a few hours and press down on the areas that are lifted. This should be enough time for the adhesive to become sticky again. The water creates a barrier between the wheel and the adhesive, but once the water dries you shouldn't have a problem with the decal sticking to your wheel.

Have you seen our wet method video? If you line up the bottom corners, you will have control of the sides and can adjust them to line up correctly which should allow the wings to connect. They should actually overlap SLIGHTLY. If you have a photo of your decal on, feel free to send it to me in a message and I will try my best to give you suggestions.
