Got my headache rack all finished and painted! Brake lights installed and wired, backup light wiring in too. Just need to tie into the truck.

The removal is definitely the worst part. You should try installing a set of @ARCHIVE shock relocation brackets. They are equally as fun to weld and fit even better. They might be the easiest I’ve installed so far

Yeah they're purdy. I would've liked to run them but a little too much for me and my trucks needs.

Bottom is 6011 whip and pause, top is 6011 circles.

    Everything after is circles:

Worth it as long as as its price is competitive with Mexican or Canadian prices.

Been there, done that, never again. Gtaw root passes are responsible for me having depression/anxiety for an entire semester lol. Mess up, and you still got the entire coupon to weld out fully knowing that its worthless. Got so frustrated with it that I changed majors and havent looked back. Passed the class though (plate, didnt do any pipe). Glad I did it, but its not for me. The few good ones I ran sure did make me feel proud though! IMG_20170404_205347619.jpg

Will those work with the 30A spool gun?

A little over a week ago, I was on here saying I might buy the Primeweld 60amp plasma cutter for $649. I did.

So far, my impression is very good. Arrived very well packaged and undamaged (Fedex), all features as advertised, and working well on the day one cuts I've made.

I only had the small Hobart 250 before, so I may be easy to impress, but man this thing cuts strong and fast. I made a 24"x 13" cut of 1/4" stainless sheet at 35amps and it I'd estimate I was moving and 1"/sec. Edge was a bit rough, but I think I had the air pressure a bit too high. Cut some tubing, removed some old weld joints from angle iron, etc just playing, and I am liking it.

    A few observations:

I called Primeweld before purchasing to discuss warranty: 3yr, shipping included; 100% coverage
Repl parts can be purchased direct from the US based outlet in NJ. 24/7 calls answered
For you CNC guys, it has an adapter, (see blue plug in 2nd photo), pinout in manual, and has a continuous cut on/off switch on front of machine
    electrode/grnd cords generously long
LED is a bit hard to read in bright sunlight (minor inconvenience)
On/Off switch is on the rear of the machine...why?
No Contact arc works very well
auto shutoff if pressure drops below about 30psi
continues cool down cycle until complete even after switched off
I like the trigger guard. East to use even with welding gloves on. I am always accidentally bumping the one on my MIG gun

Anyway, if any negatives arise after I get some more usage time in, I will update. Otherwise, to me, this seems like a good purchase if you want a machine in this size/price range that has the Euro style connector, non contact pilot, and a solid warranty.

I guess I'd call this an "upper end Chinese machine".

    upload_2019-5-19_9-37-44.jpg

Long cables, CNC plug, decent quality ground has about 3/8' thick copper pads in the jaws
    upload_2019-5-19_9-38-30.jpg

I have a trap at my compressor, but a little extra insurance...

Picking up iron for the start if my plasma table tomorrow myself.

Of course there is a bill I don't want to pay.

I don't even try to do the math anymore. The price is what it is.

@weldertaco and any other stick guys out there, are these a good start? Honestly am looking for any advice. First time working with thicker stuff and I want to make sure penetration looks good.
